1. The DIYer
The perfect package for someone looking for some fresh ideas on how to make their existing garden even better! Or for a fairly knowledgeable gardener who is starting from scratch and has plenty of time to do the labor him- or herself. Includes site visit and consultation (tips on siting garden, construction guide, soil/compost recommendations, and a basic planting plan for your favorite vegetables). Does not include any beds, labor, plants, or seeds.
2. The Heavy Lifter
If you plan to do the lion's share of the planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting, but would rather leave raised bed construction/overhauling to someone else, this is the package for you. Includes site visit and consultation, basic planting plan, as well as construction and filling of raised beds. Does not include planting, plants, seeds, or ongoing maintenance. The package for the life-time gardener who doesn't want to lift 50# soil bags anymore!
3. The Starter-Upper
Are you excited to get your hands dirty and plan to spend a few hours in the garden every week, but aren't feeling very confidence in your garden start-up know-how? Then the Starter-Upper should fit the bill. This package includes an initial site visit and consultation; an in-depth garden plan that includes a planting plan, special tips to help with pest management, weeding, watering, harvesting, and other tricks of the trade; construction and filling of raised beds; initial spring planting; and a mid-season tear-out and replant. Also includes one gardening lesson following the initial planting, so that you'll know what to do! Does not include other on-going maintenance.
4. The Home Harvester
This is a great package for the busy professional who is also a Gardening Weekend Warrior! The Home Harvester includes the same services as The Starter-Upper, in addition to a monthly service visit, where we will weed, water, prune, trellis, tear out dead/finished plants, and replant where and when appropriate. If you like, a portion of the monthly service visit can serve as a gardening lesson for you and/or your family! The Home Harvester package is perfect for those households ready to make a serious commitment by regularly tending to their yard farm every week.
5. The Fortnight Farmer
Do you have high hopes of tending your garden, but are realistic enough to know that you will need a helping hand all season? No problem--this might be the package for you. Includes the same services as The Starter-Upper, as well as as a service visit every two weeks, where we will harvest as necessary, weed, water, prune, trellis, tear out dead/finished plants, and replant where and when appropriate. Like for The Home Harvester, a portion of your service visits can be used as a gardening lesson. Pick this package if you are excited to pick veggies, herbs and/or flowers, and do some watering and weeding on occasion, but probably not much more than that.
6. The Whole Enchilada
You love to cook. You love fresh vegetables and flowers. Maybe you have young kids whom you'd love to get outside to explore nature. But you have little free time. Consider The Whole Enchilada! With this package you will get all the services of The Starter-Upper, as well as a weekly service visit where we will give much TLC to your garden, including harvesting and rinsing your produce, and packing it into a cooler for you to enjoy when you get home. For busy people who don't plan to spend their weekends or evenings in the garden, consider going for The Whole Enchilada.
